Voting Results From the 2018 Annual Meeting

    ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP

              STELLA MARIS MASTER HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.

     Amendment Proposal Outcomes at this Year’s Annual Meeting.

Declaration/Covenant Proposals require 2/3 membership vote (34/50).

·       Vote to approve proposed amendment 1 to amend Section 8.2 (A) of the    Declaration.  Passed.  37 yes votes and 3 No Votes

·       Vote to approve proposed amendment 2 to amend Section 8.2 (B) of the Declaration, as amended, regarding Maintenance Improvements.  Passed. 35 yes votes and 5 no votes.

·       Vote to approve proposed amendment 3 to amend Section 8.3 of the Declaration, as amended, regarding Maintenance Improvements. Failed.   33 yes votes and 8 no votes.

·       Vote to approve proposed amendment 4 to amend Section 11.2 of the Declaration, as amended, regarding the Use Restrictions for Boat Docks and Boat Lifts.  Passed.  35 yes votes and 3 no votes

·       Vote to approve proposed amendment 5 to amend Section 11.2 (C) of the Declaration, regarding the Use Restrictions for Boat Docks and Boat Lifts. Passed.  39 yes votes and 1 no vote

·       Vote to approve proposed amendment 6 to amend Section 11.2 (D) of the Declaration, as amended, regarding Common Area Docking.  Passed. 38 yes votes and 3 no votes

·       Vote to approve proposed amendment 7 to amend Section 15.2 of the Declaration, as amended, regarding Amendments.  Passed.  40 yes votes and 1 no vote

 By-law amendments require only a simple majority (50% plus 1 vote)

·       Vote to approve proposed amendment 8 to amend Section 6.3 of the By-Laws, as amended, regarding the Budget.  Passed.  38 yes vote and 2 no votes.

·        Vote to approve proposed amendment 9 to amend Section 3.6 of the By-Laws, as amended, regarding Proxies.  Passed.  38 yes votes and 1 no vote.

·       Vote to approve member resolution to remove the Seawall Replacement Reserve fund as a Reserve Fund that is maintained by the Stella Maris Master HOA and be replaced with the Seawall Maintenance Fund, with an initial balance to be maintained of $350,000 (Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars) and an initial 15 (Fifteen year) useful life.  Passed.  37 yes votes and 2 no votes.
